The Denver Nuggets are tightly holding on to their eighth spot in the Playoff run. With a record of 38-31, the Nuggets are only about a game and a half below the Memphis Grizzlies. Although this is true, they are also being very closely trailed by Minnesota. In their last 10 games, the Nuggets have brought about 8 wins. They are fighting as hard as they can to move up and not lose their spot.

The Nuggets six-game winning streak was torn away due to hosting the Phoenix Suns. The Suns, who have long clinched their Playoff berth, are currently 53-17. The ending score of the game was 123-114.

"We had the game, then Joe Johnson was like the quiet assassin out there. He had like nine straight points and put his team on his back tonight."
- Carmelo Anthony
