Go Nuggets!

Ok, so the Nuggets have won five straight games and tonight they play the Bulls, and with their recent record, they should beat them too. That'd be 6 in a row - still not the best record in the NBA, but at least we're on top in the Northwest Division. Let's cross our fingers!

No more of these stories please...

Nice (sigh)... from ESPN.com:

"From GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. -- Denver Nuggets reserve forward DerMarr Johnson was charged with resisting arrest and interfering with police during a disturbance outside a nightclub. Police said they used a taser to calm the 6-foot-9 player.

"He apparently would not cooperate," police Lt. Randy Corbitt said."

Supposedly, he was breaking up a fight between the two women. That's fine and all, but when the police tell you to stand down, don't you think maybe you should do it?

All-NBA for Anthony

Carmelo Anthony, forward for the Nuggets, made the All-NBA Third Team. This is the second consecutive season he has earned the honor. I don't think anyone here in Denver is all that surprised...
